Chattanooga PCAS is currently working with
three target schools:
Sale
Creek,
Howard and
Red
Bank High (each of which is
respectively a rural, urban, and suburban school).
The goal is to implement special college
awareness programs for students and parents.
The Partnership organizes college awareness retreats for sophomores
and seniors, called Camp
College, where sessions focus
on financial aid and scholarships, postsecondary options,
college and scholarship essay
writing, college searches and employer expectations. Over
1,000 students at the target schools benefit from the Camp
College program each year.
